Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, Inc. was created in honor of Kristen Varley. Kristen was diagnosed with stage IIIC ovarian cancer at age 38 in August 2003.

Since her diagnosis, Kristen has taken an active role in helping other women. Kristen has always been dedicated to her family, friends, and career. Now, as an ovarian cancer survivor, she is also committed to sharing her story and stressing the need for a reliable early detection test and treatment.
